Default Foster care in CA *dangerous* even Head concurs

So all you spanking families in Los Angeles County, California may know--your
child may be sent to Foster Care within a system that is inherently DANGEROUS
TO CHILDREN.

Even the head of Child Welfare in Los Angeles county agrees with this
pronouncement.

BTW, the taxpayers of California have shelled out at least 40M for
illegalities, deaths, and abuse which occurred while children INCARCERATED IN
FOSTER CARE IN California.

Even the newly appointed head of Child Welfare in Los Angeles agrees that
foster care in Los Angeles is dangerous.

So all the apologists can listen to the expert while he disses his own system.

Deaths, abuse, and neglect within foster care in Los Angeles.

"The Daily News found that up to half of the 75,000 children in foster
care were needlessly put into the system. State and federal laws have created
incentives for placing children into the foster care system since the
county receives $30,000 to $150,000 annually in state and federal funds
for each child placed into the system, the newspaper reported."

Thanks for the article, Fernn. The question one has to ask is where does
the $30,000 to $150,000 go and how much of that money filtered down to
actually helping the children? LaVonne is the one on this newsgroup who
constantly claiming that CPS doesn't get enough money. HOW MUCH MORE
MONEY DO YOU THINK THE SYSTEM NEEDS??? HOW MANY MORE CHILDREN WILL
NEEDLESSLY BE IN THE SYSTEM IF SPANKINGS ARE OUTLAWED???
