I think this paragraph says it all:
"The Superior Court said Hudson "operated for more than a decade under
the false pretense" that he was the boy's biological father and that "it
is undisputed that this subterfuge was a direct result of (his
ex-wife's) misrepresentations by omission and intentional misstatements.""

Exactly. Take notes Florida; the man believed his wife. That's not
uncommon about married couples, and that's certainly not an excuse to
blame him for the fact that he got conned.
