I am starting to think if it were up to men, we would probably die off as

a
society.

From my personal experience I have asked women what would they do if

they
became pregnant. The answer I have heard in response was almost

identical
from every woman - "We'll just have to deal with that if and when it
happens." I have thought those responses were demonstrating a lack of
willingness to tackle the issue head-on. My original question here

was
designed to try to understand the shift in women's thinking from a
nonchalant, "let's not worry about that now" type of response before
conception to one of a very rigid response post-conception. So what

is
it
about this topic that prevents women from thinking ahead about the
consequences of unwanted pregnancies and expressing their thoughts to

men
before the fact rather than after the fact?

--------------------------
I have always been amazed by this. It has always seemed strange to me

that
a woman who said she doesn't want a kid and has stated many times that

she
would be a terrible mom can do a 180 upon learning of being pregnant.

It
has always seemed like some kind of poisoning to me where something is
excreted by the body making the brain turn to goo until the novelty of a

new
baby wears off. And countless times these same people, true to their

word,
were terrible moms.

Maybe they view abortion as a form of killing an unborn child. Therefore
they couldn't murder a baby. To many abortion is not riding the body, or
themselves, of something they don't want. Instead abortion is ending the
life of someone who isn't born yet. Keep in mind - abortion is not an

easy
decision to make. For many it leaves scares...

------------------------
Well, if they knew they would be terrible moms then I think it would be
better to abort than bring an unwanted child into the world just to destroy
it's life through abuse and neglect. How many of the women who kill their
kids didn't want kids at first? It's fine to not want an abortion because
you feel like it's murder but what is to stop you from putting the kid up
for adoption? All the pro-lifers get in a rage about abortion but once the
kid is born they couldn't care less about how it, or if it, lives.

That's funny bescuase all the pregnancy crisis center's encourage
adoption. These are the frontliners on the abortion debate lines too.
