State of Milwaukee
Submitted paperwork through my atty to end support on oldest child when
he turned 19. After 3 months with no change asked atty to follow up. Court in Milwaukee claimed wrong paperwork was submitted. Atty shows me paperwork was supplied by court in Milwaukee. Contacted Milwaukee ref this bs. Asked to talk to a male case worker. Was told that there were no male case workers. Learned that required paperwork had changed from time my atty ordered correct form and time paperwork arrived. Asked why now incorrect paperwork was not returned. "Best interest of the child" was the answer. Requested the correct paperwork. Submitted that paperwork during the end of October and still no change in support at this time. Oldest child has been 19 years old for six months now. Paperwork has an effective date on oldest child's birthday. Not much chance of ever being paid back for this overage. Anyone having the same problems with State of Milwaukee? |
