Default Girl, 10 Raped at School by 11 & 12 yr old Classmates

There is something wrong in this story, when there is
no supervision on the school grounds, and boys one and
two years behind their classes can get into mischief

2 boys admit assaulting girl at school, police say

By Shannon O'Boye | South Florida Sun-Sentinel

LAUDERHILL -- Two fourth-grade boys pulled a
10-year-old girl into a restroom at school and took
turns sexually assaulting her, a Broward Sheriff's
Office spokesman said Thursday.

The incident occurred about 9 a.m. Wednesday in a
portable facility behind Royal Palm Elementary. The
girls' restroom inside the main building is closed
because of construction, school officials said.

The girl was taken to the Sexual Assault Treatment
Center in Fort Lauderdale, where physical evidence of
the rape was collected, sheriff's spokesmen Jim
Leljedal said. Both boys admitted the attack, he added.

The younger boy was arrested on charges of sexual
battery on a juvenile and lewd and lascivious
exhibition, and the older boy was arrested on two
counts of sexual battery on a juvenile and lewd and
lascivious exhibition.

The girl told Broward sheriff's detectives that once
the 11-year-old and 12-year-old boys got her into the
bathroom, the younger boy pulled down her pants and
underwear. He then pulled down his own pants and made
her perform a sex act on him. After that, the other boy
raped the girl, authorities said.

Once she got out of the bathroom, the girl told a
friend. The friend found a teacher who reported the
incident to the school resource deputy. The deputy was
not on campus at the time.

What, in God's name, made those two boys even THINK about doing what they
did??
IMHO, they apparently have seen the acts somewhere. Whether in their home,
on the television on in magazines. Curiosity is one thing for a 3, 4 or 5
year old. This is WELL BEYOND curiosity.
The parents of these boys need to be questioned thoroughly and a search of
the boys' homes for adult materials/toys needs to be performed.
Good chance the boys' parents need to be charged, also.

Bonnie - It is quite obvious that the boy's bodies
developed much faster than their minds

Please Bonnie -- do not top post and please snip any

What do you mean by "top post"?

As for the reason you gave about the boys....
NO REASON, NO EXCUSE.

The proper way to post is to place your text
immediately below the material to which it refers.

As for the reason you gave about the boys....
NO REASON,

I gave an answer to your question. The "reason" is
usually a causal factor, not an excuse

NO EXCUSE.

Excuse me does not apply here. 1)- There is nothing
that excuses the boys' behaviour; 2)- there has been
gross negligence in the supervision of these boys in
the school; 3)- There has been gross negligence in the
school in general particularly considering the
disruptions caused by the construction; 4)- there has
not been sufficient parental care and guidance in the home.

2) and 4) are the probable reasons that the boys are
one and two years behind their class leading me to
believe that their bodies are developing more rapidly
than their minds

Stupid is, as stupid does.

#3 Top-posting makes posts incomprehensible.

Firstly: In normal conversations, one does not answer to
something that has not yet been said. So it is unclear to
reply to the top, whilst the original message is at the
bottom. Secondly: In western society a book is normally
read from top to bottom. Top-posting forces one to stray
from this convention: Reading some at the top, skipping
to the bottom to read the question, and going back to the
top to continue. This annoyance increases even more than
linear with the number of top-posts in the message. If
someone replies to a thread and you forgot what the
thread was all about, or that thread was incomplete for
some reasons, it will be quite tiresome to rapidly
understand what the thread was all about, due to bad
posting and irrelevant text which has not been removed.

My goodness, you found a document on the web that supports your opinions
and preferences! That must mean you're right and I'm wrong!

Pfft. Not.

You have demonstrated that it is seldom done
"properly". Granted there are exceptions where posting
at the top is appropriate and others where a
combination serve is appropriate ..... both are
exceedingly rare.

It refers to the placement of your commentary (new text) at the top of the
post, above the old/background/quoted material. There is no rule against
it, and if done properly there's nothing wrong with it.

__________
Doing it properly
means taking the time to remove from the old/background material anything
that is not strictly necessary for the comprehensibility and context of
your new text.

NOT correct
______________
Some folks, apparently including "Mod Pol", like to go on power trips by
bitching and whining and issuing "corrections" when people break
nonexistent rules against top-posting.

And Stern just likes to bitch and whine when anyone
fails to agree with his bad manners and erroneous ideas.

Most often you *are* wrong. You are even confused
about the person to whom you are responding,
consequently your response does not even make sense
