Default Nuvaring & Supply

The converation on hormonal birth control at 14 mos. has me wondering.

My situation is: On the mini-pill, DD is 14 months old, no periods yet (for
me, and of course for her, too . But I've had the odd bit of cramping and
almost unnoticable spotting, so I'm thinking ovulation may have returned. DD
still nurses like a little fiend, and on some days still gets 80% or more of
her nutrition that way, so I'm hesitant about reducing my supply. On the
other hand, I'm very nervous about continuing on the mini-pill, because I am
VERY bad at taking it, and nowhere near ready for another baby.

Does anyone have any experiences to share? Advice?

I just might call and get a script and be a guinea pig for everybody, in
which case I'll let you know how it goes. Just tell me..how would I tell if
my supply were decreasing?

Since the estrogen released by the NuvaRing is so localized, it's probably
the least likely of all BC methods using estrogen to compromise supply.

I notice that DS responds to the estrogen surges (and consequent supply
dips) of my menstrual periods by nursing more often for a day or two.
