active babies and breastfeeding

Ollie's an astoundingly active baby -- he walks (runs!) all over the
place, and is generally full of beans. I know most nine-month-old
babies don't need more than breastmilk, and that solids are more for
educational and entertainment purposes. Is that true for very active
babies, as well? Since he's more like a one-year-old, physically, are
his nutritional needs different from your average nine-month-old?

Seems to me the only thing that more active babies need is more calories, and
breastmilk is fine for that. I don't think they need more iron or anything than
other babies would need.

I think the fact that he has the energy to run around like this is a very good
sign that he's getting what he needs (though he could get a bit low on iron
without necessarily showing any symptoms).
