August due dates

Into the second half of pregnancy! So it's all swiftly downhill from
here, eh? How's everyone feeling? Is your body telling you to start
slowing down, taking it a little easier? How is sleeping going -- lots
of pillows stuck into every nook? Bellybutton flattening out yet, linea
nigra, stretch marks? Are you glowing yet? LOL.

I look like a beached whale and have so many pillows in the bed that DD and
DH are going to have to sleep somewhere else very shortly!!
No stretch marks yet or linea nigra, hair and blubber are a different matter
though.... I'm putting on weight faster than last time. I'm not so much
glowing as looking really awful and feeling very huge.

Bub, and BP were fine at last week's OB visit, although I did have a
capillary burst in my eye last week which freaked me out a bit (apparently
almost as common as pg nose and gum bleeds). I have to have the glucose
tolerance test in the next month and also have my blood antibodies checked
(I'm -ve, DH is +ve).
It has finally cooled down here so at last I can wear my maternity clothes
(I had plenty of winter maternity stuff from last time and was determined
that I was not going to buy any more maternity clothes and that I would just
have to tough out our long, hot summer).

DD is very into "bubbies" at the moment and likes to give the bump a cuddle.
Apparently she also has a bubby in her tummy, but of course Daddy doesn't -
that would just be silly!
This pregnancy is just flying by..... and I can't wait until August!!

....and my wonderful DH has just put dinner on to cook
