I can only confuse you, and so will most of the symptoms. In fact, pregnancy
is different for almost every woman, and even for a single woman, different
pregnancies can be enormously different. Early pregnancy signs can be very
similar to most PMS signs, which can be both confusing and frustrating until
your period arrives (or not).

Before you get pregnant it is important to resort to a basically healthy
diet, i.e. try to quit smoking, limit alcohol and caffeine. You will
need to take additional folic acid. Also the father-to-be can influence
your chance at conceiving, so he will have to live the healthy life too
(except for the folic acid).

I assume you know exactly 'how' to get pregnant , but don't be worried
if it takes a while. On average your chance to get pregnant is only 20%
each cycle, so you can aim for on average 6 months of trying. If you don't
get pregnant within a year, there may be a medical reason and you can look
up a doctor. The reason this chance is so small, is that many things can
go wrong in the very early stages. In general, you will never notice,
except for a period being a few days late on occasion.

If you want more in depth information, google the subject, or go to a
library and pick up some books on pregnancy. There is a whole universe
of information, also on fertility monitoring. But keep in mind: everybody
is different, and you may not experience everything as it is written.

Good luck!

There is a really good book called 'Taking charge of your fertility' by
Toni Weschler (sp?). It tells you how you can monitor your fertility
through your cycle and maximise your chances of conception or avoid
conception. Worth a look if you can get a copy.

I second Larissa's recommendation, even if you aren't having problems
conceiving. I found the level of understanding that I gained about my body
from Weschler's book to be, well, empowering, for lack of a less-overused
word. Amazon had a pretty good deal on it when I ordered it.

Good luck!
