He does need some solids.
A lot of babies do slow down eating at about 1 year, I remember feeding my

was amazing how little he ate. They really need small servings of food.

Maybe he's not eating because his teeth are hurting? Perhaps it's too
painful to chew things? Sometimes (for my daughter) this goes on for a week
or more when she is teething - it just seems to hurt to chew.

he is
not taking salt and not eating lumpy food in his diet,he likes sweet
in vegetables too.if i'm not adding sweet in vegetables he is not
taking?

Babies really shouldn't have any salt in their food, and they don't need it
added to their diets. I think perhaps by sweet you are saying he wants
sugar added to his vegetables? Adding sugar to vegetables is best avoided
if this is what you are doing - perhaps try offering him some sweet-tasting
vegetables like sweetcorn or sweet potatoes or carrots?

but one day when he is not eating anything then he go to his
dad and have 1 table spoon salty rice and daal.

It's better to avoid giving him salty food at all - although daal is good.
My food is always more interesting to the baby than her own food. Sometimes
I just give up and pass her my plate.

is breastfeed is enough for 14 month baby?
he is taking few spoons and
not taking bottles at all.

In my experience, it's quite normal for my daughter to be off her food for a
few days when she is teething. She will just nurse a bit more often. Maybe
this is what is happening?

I hope he is feeling better soon.

hi
thaks for your advice,i'll try to intorduce all these things to my
baby.one more question like if i'll eat a full plate of noodles and
after an hour i will feed my baby breastfeed, so should i give to baby
sepratly noodle that day or he just take it through breast?
and the things you have written to give to baby, should i give all
things daily or we can choose one of the item for breakfast like one
day cereal and other day bread? because my baby is not very much
taking these days i don't know why?i trying my best and offering him
every 2 hrs. but he is not interested. should i offer these all to him
and let him to choose or give all these in little quantity but daily.
here is the web site of my baby.

He should get his own noodles.

and the things you have written to give to baby, should i give all

At this stage, I would try to find something he likes and if he will eat it,
then offer it daily.
It may not be great variety, but at least he will be eating something.

I would offer small amounts of different things until I found out what he
liked, then give him that
daily. Find a few items in each category- dairy, grains, meats, fruits,
vegetables , that he will eat. Then use those
to plan his meals.

If he likes eating it mashed together, I cant see the problem with that. As
long as he is eating.
Perhaps he just likes the smooth texture of the pureed food? Along with
daal, what about other pulses?
Split peas cooked with carrots and potatoes?
A serving of fruits or vegetables for a 1-2 year old is 2 Tablespoons so-

1 egg- 1 serving protein
1/4 carrot- 1 serving
15 peas- 1 serving
broccoli- 1 serving
corn- 1 serving
1 T peanut butter- 1 serving i guess

The sizes may be off a little, but its looks good.

or i should change

cereal.

1 slice bread- 1/2 serving
1 cup cereal- 4 servings

light daal today night.lets see.he is not taking any fruits or

total
protein-2
orange or green vegetables-3
other vegetables-1 (corn)
grains and cereals- 6 1/2

It looks like he is eating. Have you tried feeding him melons. peaches,or
mango? What about banana?
Will he eat pureed carrots? Im not very familiar with Indian and Southeast
Asian cuisine, but dall seems a good choice
and if you can add carrots or squash to the lentils, that would be good.
But overall, for a 14 month old he is doing well.
