plz help, iam tensed with my baby's weight

My DD was born on 19th feb and so is nearly 7 and a half months old,
exactly she is 7 months and 10 days old. She weighs around 7.4
kilograms or you can say 16.3 pounds. she looks much younger to her
age,
she doesn't look like an ordinary 7 month old. Is this weight ok or is
it less than average, please suggest me, coz iam very tensed...plz
help..

It depends on a variety of factors. What was her gestational age?
What was her birth weight? What has her growth velocity been like (how
fast has she been growing)? What is the general body type of her
parents?

Without the answers to these questions, it is impossible to accurately
answer your question. Best you talk with your daughter's pediatrician.

7.4 Kg seems to be well inside the normal range according to this chart at
the CDC....

It looks like the normal weight range for a 7.5 month old girls is between
6.5Kg to 9.5Kg. So 7.4kg is middle of the range really.

If you are concerned ask them to explain these charts at the next checkup..
