Default what someone should invent

.... is medicine for babies that you can take that is SUPPOSED to go in your
breastmilk.

From ROSIE
mum to the screaming-teething Ella, who won't take sippy cups or spoons and
has no way of getting Calpol into her, even though it's positively DRIPPING
with delicious sugar..!

Have you tried a syringe or a dropper? I find them much easier than a
spoon.

I at times use a dropper while nursing - just sneak it into the corner of
DS's mouth while he's sucking away and squeeze gently - works pretty well!

Yes I have tried this - she went CRAZY. Doesn't want ANYTHING near her sore
mouth. Goes mad and screams, poor sausage.

I've even tried diluting it with water and putting it in a wine glass and
pretending that I was drinking it, to try and convince her...

I need it to look like something small and dirty picked up from the carpet,
then she'd pop it in her mouth....

I think I will have to wait until she is feeling a little better and then
try it from a spoon again.

Run out of ideas

LOL. There's a thought. They could make painkillers in the form of gummy
chews (like the gummy vitamins) and cover them with lint.

Calpol is just paracetamol (acetaminophen), right? Try a suppository. It
can be much, much easier than giving syrup, in my experience.

This sounds like a good idea but I've not seen them for sale in the UK
(although I've not asked) - I will ask next time I'm at the chemist.

Cheers!
