Default Death penalty proposed for killer foster parents

If Ohio is a death penalty state I can't see why this is even up for
consideration. It should be, in every state, the same penalty for
murdering a child as murdering an adult.

This simply shows how warped we are that the same crime on an adult is
treated less seriously if perpetrated on a child.

Really? I thought this was about breaking down
some sort of IMMUNITY or prosecutor "descretion"
and the view that Fosters are prosecutors ALLIES.

Prosecutors are reluctant to prosecute ALLIES in many places.

Sentences are less. Convictions harder to come by.

I think our society needs an overhaul on this issue. Not just for
foster parents, but for everyone.

Government agents who deliberately and blatantly lie to make a case?

News story:
changing how foster care funding works so that agencies still
receive money for helping keep families together, rather than removing children.

You thought what was?

And how are fosters prosecutor's allies?

Prosecutors are reluctant to prosecute ALLIES in many places.

You simply dreampt up a connection that does not exist.

Your logic would have any potential witness a predetermined ally that
prosecutors wouldn't prosecute.

This is what I mean by "fundy thinking" and lying, Greg.

Non sequitur unless they are the killer.

The thread is titled:

"Death penalty proposed for killer foster parents"

Nothing about workers at all. You choked, as usual.

News story:

Badly snipped by you to obscure the argument. Tsk.

changing how foster care funding works so that agencies still
receive money for helping keep families together, rather than removing children.

Actually what it said was:

" Along with the death penalty recommendation, the Public Children
Services
Association of Ohio's proposals include matching children with
emotional
and physical disabilities with trained caretakers and changing how
foster
care funding works so that agencies still receive money for helping
keep
families together, rather than removing children. "

Any idea what that costs?

And according to you, Greg, and some others, there is no need because
there are so few such children.

A blatant self serving dangerous lie, Greg.

And the article itself has done so ... since there is already money for
helping keep families together, and the percentage of children versus
the number of investigations are a huge difference...very few children
are actually removed.
