poor baby :(

Hello, been rather busy the past four days helpng my daughter with a
very sick little girl. Jaime came home from her daddies house sniffling.
After a couple days she has developed a full blown upper respiratory
infection. Went to the doctor today and she is finally sleeping
comfortably. Good meds ! I need a nap. nite nite Nanny Bebe ........

That reminds me when I brought my daughter home newborn from the hospital. My
son had a cold and despite gleeful promises from the LeLeche people that
breastfeeding would provide immunity, of course Sarah, cought it as well. So I
take her to the doctor, they take blood from the poor little girl and he
solemnly informs me that she does, indeed, have an "upper respiratory
infection"

"OH MY GOD, what is that, what shall I do, how serious is that"...I gasp...

Sheepishly the doctor looks down and mumbles "Oh well that just really means
she has a cold"

Even a cold is so hard on the little ones though.... Heck when I am sick
all you hear from my bedroom is " I'mmmmmm siiiiiick" I am a very good
whiner when I am sick. Jaime is still hanging in there , at a little
over two months she doesn't whine half as much as her Nanny Bebe !
