Default New study suggesting risks of elective c-section

Here's a new study that looked at infant mortality
after vaginal vs. c-section birth in low risk pregnancies.
They found that the risk of death within a month after birth
was three times as high following a c-section than a vaginal
birth, and the difference persisted after taking into account
several additional factors that might be presumed to make
the c-section more risky.

Food for thought wrt elective primary c-sections, though
obviously it's not a perfect study.

Best wishes,
Ericka
