Default Finding Large Nursing Bras

Hello All,

First time posting to this group, so please forgive any horrible faux
pas that I commit out of ignorance.

I am looking for speciality shops that can supply nursing bras for my
very large chested wife. She is a 34I in US sizes or a 34G in european
sizes. I have tried google searching but even the largest sites only
carry her cup size in larger underbreast measurements.

The few places I have found her size it has been for a sports-bra type
of thing that she can't stand. Looking for a good quality bra and
willing to pay around $100US if I can find one.

Any help greatly appreciated(hoping to get one for Christmas)

If you don't have any luck finding one online (I never did...) and have even
rudimentary sewing skills, you can take a regular bra that fits and convert
it into a nursing bra. It doesn't take long, and is far less expensive than
trying to find a specialty nursing bra pre-made.

Hope this helps! Sorry I don't have any other links for you.

Where are you located? There is a shop close to me that specializes in
nursing bras and carries larger sizes. She even has some pretty ones that
look and feel like *real* bras

Since you're in the UK (or at least your email address is!) Mothercare
do do them in these sizes. You have to search carefully or ask an
assistant, since they hide them I think!, but when I'm looking for 44G
all I seem to find are the 34-38s. ;-)

You can order them from the website: www.mothercare.com, or there's
www.figleaves.com (up to JJ), and a few other sites. Google 'nursing
bras site:uk' and you'll get loads.

I doubt that you want to order from the US, so I won't specify
retailers - but the brands you probably want to look for a
Cameo
Fancee Free
Fantasie of England
Jennique/Jeunique

Other brands that might fit (since cup sizes vary by manuf):
Aviana
Chantelle
Freya
Leading Lady
Prima Donna

These are all based on a (somewhat) standard US I cup of 7.5".
You'll probably need to special order most of these - they're
custom fit, which means they come in a broad range of sizes,
but you usually need to email instead of point and click.

Personally, as a 36HH, my preference is for the Jeunique. It
fits well, is amazingly supportive and lets me do whatever I
want without worrying about breasts. They're also all nursing
bras, which is nice.
