Default Raising Girls, Shareware Tips

Hi,

Just thought I would mention this to the group though it happened a while
ago now. There are practicalities that as a male you just don't think about
until you are raising a little girl by yourself. Specific example, if you
are going for a walk in the woods with a three year old and she suddenly
needs to go to the toilet it is not just instinctive to crouch and put a bit
of distance between the feet. You have to point out the advantages of being
closer to the ground and how feet apart means less on our shoes. Until then
it never even crossed my mind that anyone would not know because I never
thought about it.

Further tip for single dads of little girls:
Insist on only going to the disabled toilets only not the Mens or Ladies.
Big bonus as in my experience for the past year they are far and away the
cleanest and most pleasant to be in also no crowds or queues.

Times are tough so if anyone wants to send a payment for these shareware
tips (don't use more than twice without paying me) then I will provide a
snail mail address, contribute as you feel right. ; )

I assume everyone knows you wipe North to South so I won't charge for that
one though some boys only parents may still be unaware.

wow, I thought they just grew, sort of like mold. LOL,

sorry, don't mean it. You know what its like, whatever you have if its your
only child you think is the perfect one and can't imagine anything else
though you know it does happen in dark corners and away from polite society.
; )

Being one myself all I can say is 'Watch them, they're sneaky!' and yes they
did do it however much they do the big round eyes thing (and thats a
freebie!!)

Andrew

PS, as Lewis Carroll said:

Speak roughly to your little boy,
And beat him when he sneezes:
He only does it to annoy,
Because he knows it teases.

PPS same age? Twins? also 4? My sisters are twins.

Hmm...being a parent of both a girl and a boy, and having taught confirmation
(12-13 year olds) for nearly twenty years, I would generalize that it is the
girls who are sneaky. Boys will outright rebel to your face, girls smile and
say what you want to hear and then do exactly what they want to do.
