Default Help DD CLAMPING down on nipples....

For the last two days DD has been clamping down on nipple and the first time
she did it I think I scared us both by yelping. She is only 4mo how do I get
it across that this hurts like h***. I am still seeing stars.... She just had
her checkup and there is no sign of teething, what would make her just start
doing this?? Any help would be wonderful. Thanks.

My son was a bit older, but he sometimes did this (both before and after
teeth) when I was nursing him and he'd decided he'd had enough. Not exactly
the best way to inform Mommy that he was done, however, and I broke him of
it by not only removing him from the breast but setting him on the floor and
walking away.

What does it all mean? I have *no* idea. But it's my life and I like it.
