scenario
A non custodial spouse who has never shown any interest in being a part of her
children's lives is behind on child support several thousand dollars. She joins the army reasoning that eventually her paycheck will be garnished but at least she cannot be cited for contempt of court for non payment of child support for the huge amount of support and medical expenses she owes prior to joining the armed forces. Is this true? Many thanks! Is it not possible to serve somebody in the military? |
