I have received your recent correspondence expressing concern
for your family, which was forwarded to me for response as the Director of
the Department of Child Services. Thank you for seeking our assistance.



I would like to specifically address your concerns. However,
your letter did not provide enough information to enable this office to
conduct a thorough review of this matter. If your concern is related to how
a particular local DCS office has handled a child welfare matter, I
recommend you express your concern in writing to the Director of the local
office and allow him/her the opportunity to thoroughly review and address
the matter. Make sure you include the names of the children involved and
both their parent's names. I am confident our local department will address
your concerns in a manner consistent with state law and best practice
