Drooling

It doesn't make any difference if my mouth is closed or not. My doc says I have developed carpel tunnel syndrome (because of being pregnant) and it has progressed from very sore wrists to my finger tips being constantly numb. I wonder if maybe this has deadened other nerve endings in my body, therefore making me drool without noticing. Has anyone else experienced this? Or am I just weird. Having excess saliva when pregnant is pretty common I think. You're not weird ;-) Hope -- Riley 1993 c/s Tara 2002 HBAC proudly distributing Mayawrap Baby Slings Down Under http://www.babyslings-australia.com |

Drooling
I have done it on occasion, I attribute it to be so very very tired.

I don't think the nerves in your face have to go through any narrow gaps so I would be surprised if it was a similar problem. I have more saliva when pregnant. It's not wierd :-) |

Pregnancy can create bizarre symptoms throughout your body. I once saw a graphic that was a picture of a pregnant woman, with arrows pointed to each part of the body and what could change during pregnancy The two you mentioned, excess saliva and carpal tunnel, are examples. There can be changes in your skin, your teeth and gums, even your eyesight. Such a strange time. do a web search on "pregnancy body changes" to see other lists of what's normal during pregnancy. - lynn |
