Update on me!
Good to hear things are almost back to normal!!
-- There are many intelligent species in the Universe. They are all owned by cats. Anonymous One cat just leads to another. -Ernest Hemingway "Chookie" wrote in message ... Went to the doctor's again last week to get my blood test results back... Haemoglobin: 11 (normal is 12-16) Ferritin: 117 (120 is the bottom of the normal range) Practically back to normal! My new iron pills are plainly working well! I never saw my haemoglobin over 13 even when I started donating blood in my 20s. Between births, the highest my ferritin reached was 126, which my Dr was not happy with: plainly it would be dropping below 120 whenever I menstruated. (I eventually gave up trying to get it to go higher and had DS2 in spite of my borderline iron status.) We've been a bit worried because my BP has been up since the birth and the diastolic was 86 last time, so my Dr, as well as the hospital midwives, was starting to make noises about Essential Hypertension Showing Up In Pregnancy and Needing Medication If It Keeps Up... This time it was 128/72. And I was feeling a bit stressed when she took it. Pretty happy! My muscle separation is now only one finger wide (it was 4-5 fingers wide at first). -- Chookie -- Sydney, Australia (Replace "foulspambegone" with "optushome" to reply) "In Melbourne there is plenty of vigour and eagerness, but there is nothing worth being eager or vigorous about."
