Default DD must have something to hold

Just thought I'd share this - I find it rather amusing. DD 15 months is
still keen to nurse often, but she must have something to hold. She'll ask
to nurse, get very excited when I say ok, and then quickly run and grab
something to hold while she nurses, ie a block, teddy bear, balloon etc.

My God, you are sooooooooooo lucky. My son also must have something to hold
but it's always the other nipple. Both my kids have done it. Drives me
mad!

William did that and I couldn't STAND it. I have very firmly moved
Lorelei's hand away every time she tried so that she would not get
into the habit. Once in the habit I find it cannot be broken.
William would cry like I was killing him when I took his hand away.
