2 and a bit weeks

I don't know where the time goes! I can't believe Megan is already 2 weeks
old. So now that she has reached her official EDD, we are treating her
differently - being a bit harder on getting her to sleep by herself (I love
sleeping with her, but DH is a bit reluctant), and also giving her more
stimulation when she is awake.

On the feeding side, we are STILL having latch issues - I thought it would
be o.k. this time, after all the hassles with DD1. Things do seem to be on
the improve though - todays feeds have been only slightly painful, and I am
finding it easier to get her on (it was taking up to 15 mins), so it is
easier to unlatch her to correct incorrect positioning. She knows what she
wants though, and has gone from 6 lb at birth to 7 lb 3 at 2 weeks!

Term finishes this week for Playcentre and swimming, so I am going to have
to start thinking of other activities to entertain the toddler. I can't
believe how housebound I feel with the 2 of them. And as an aside, I think
we are going to have to buy a new car - ours is 18 years old, and central
locking hadn't been invented then.
