Then what folding were you doing, besides folding them in thirds one way or the other? I fold mine in half after they've dried on the airer, to go in the airing cupboard - they don't fit otherwise. Perhaps that kind of folding was also included? -- Linz YB: 14 weeks, 14lbs 7oz |

One more chore that wasn't required with disposables. Huh. I use Mother-Ease, so if I feel like it I do one bit flat stack them on a shelf under the changing table, but otherwise I just pull them out of a laundry basket near the changing table whenever I need one. Obviously, space may be at a premium for some, but I'm just as happy with a basketfull of clean fluffy diapers as I ever was with a tight-packed package of disposables. I find them a lot more aesthetically pleasing. They're soft and fluffy, not hard, thin and crinkly. Obviously, the OP has decided on disposables, so this is all moot. --angela |

Oh. I'm imagining all this elaborate folding that's taking up a lot of time, or something. Oh no. Just regular stuff to keep the house tidy and the laundry put away. shrugs I hope it's been clear through all of this that I'm not saying that using cloth diapers is difficult, just that I, personally, decided it was too much of a hassle for *me*. I'm actually quite in favor of cloth diapers, and quite admire those of you all who are going to the extra effort. Best wishes, Donna |
