research request: short survey on parental guilt
Hi all,
I am co-authoring a book about parenting and guilt/stress. As part of the book, I am conducting a short Internet survey. It takes less than 5 minutes and asks parents about the areas that cause them stress (and also about the job of parenting --like time spent on childcare tasks). The survey is completely anonymous and is hosted by an independent survey-hosting site. Will you please help us out by taking the survey? Simply go to http://www.AdvancedSurvey.com/default.asp?SurveyID=4477 to take the survey. Alternatively, you can point your browser to www.advancedsurvey.com & enter 4477 in the box labeled: "Take a survey, Enter survey #" Although the survey is named "Mommy Guilt" (to make our publisher happy), dads are invited to take the survey, too. The questions themselves are geared toward any parent. If you enjoy taking the survey, would you please also e-mail its URL to a friend or two? Thank you for your help, Julie Bort www.mommy-guilt.com P.S. Over 750 parents have taken the survey to date, but our publisher has asked us to gather more. I am trying to get the word out! Results so far show that nearly 95% percent of participants experience guilt over parenting issues. Over half say yelling at their children is the area that causes the most guilt. The anticipated publication date for Mommy Guilt is May, 2005. It will be available in bookstores nationwide. |
