Default CTTS - or is it PTTS?

PTTS would stand for "Profound things they say".

I don't know how many of you are familiar with the card game "War",
but I was playing it with my 5-year old daughter today. Jokers were
wild, and our deck has three of them. She had just won a war
containing two of my aces, leaving her with all three jokers and three
aces to my one lone ace.

In a sad, mock crying voice, I said to her, "Mariel, I only have one
ace left. What can I do?"

Her reply? "Daddy, don't give up. Hope turns to life."
