preschool class size question

But your kids will already be 4, when the school year starts, right?
How old are most of the kids in the class? Are yours going to be the
very oldest?

The cutoff date here is Aug. 31, and she wasn't allowing for any wiggle room.
There is a lot of competition around here, especially for the MWF 4 year old
classes, and she had no openings left. She said there would be one child who
would be 3 years 11 mo. old and a couple 3 years 8 months old when school
started - so mine would be the oldest, with some soon to follow.

There isn't a "mandatory" parental involvment, but they don't mind if you want
to help. There's no way I would know before hand if any parents would be
involved or not. I would not want to be in the class myself, because I know
they would be all over me and not behave as well (been there, done that!).
They do require you for field trips (which I would want to do anyway).
