Default Child tax credit

I'm trying to get my sh*t together to do my taxes when I have some
time this weekend. Does anyone know what the deal is with the child
tax credit this year? I'd really appreciate info or links on it, if
you know.

Thanks in advance,
Rosie

Hi Rosie,

There's a lot of good information on it at this link -
http://www.taxbrain.com/taxcenter/irspubs/child_tax.pdf

Do you file online? It's nice because you get your refund back
earlier. Mine only took a few days last year! I like TaxBrain
because I don't have to buy new software every year. It's a website
and they keep it updated. You just pay for the filing service,
which costs about as much as just buying the TurboTax software.

Hope that helps.
