Default Giving gifts FROM twins/multiples

This is very interesting as I have wondered about this recently too. I have
done it both ways, but more often have given ONE really nice present. Riley
and James are not quite at the age where they are picking out gifts for people.
When they become more interested I will certainly let them pick things out.

Incidently, we have several friends with 2 or more children in the family and
when they come to parties for my kids, they bring one gift FROM both children
for each of my kids. It is a family gift.

Boy, you guys have been great to give so much helpful feedback! I definitely
"got" what a lot of you were saying about how a lot depends on who the gift is
for, etc. I figure if I work on these kinds of scenarios as time goes by, I
won't feel so overwhelmed and stumped when the situation arises It's that
controlling, type "A" personality that gets me every time! LOL. Thanks, again,
for all your comments and advice. I feel much more certain of what to do when
I come upon this situation. (A gift for each child to bring unless it's a
family gift or really close/older friend who understands the $ is combined for
a better gift.)

Sincerely,
