They realize that! But they still appreciate always being off from school
on their birthday (as long as we live in the US or Canada). And I
appreciate having the day off!

is Jan 2nd and i have always believed that it was a national holiday
as well, and i am 31 years old. so tell them congrats and that they

Thanks Erika! And you're right about them still wanting to be babies. As
their birthday approached, they kept mentioning how they wanted to stay 8 yo
and how they didn't want to grow up. I told them their life will get better
and better as they grow up being able to do more things like driving (at
which point my life will get worse!).
