Default Spine-wrenching birth trauma --> DISH (Diffuse Idiopathic Skeletal Hyperostosis) in 55 year-olds?

PREGNANT WOMEN: To help avoid spinal manipulation birth trauma - learn how
to allow your birth canal to open an "extra" up to 30%.

For simple instructions on how to allow your birth canal to open an "extra"
up to 30%...

BIRTH TRAUMA -- DISH (Diffuse Idiopathic Skeletal Hyperostosis) in 55
year-olds?

"Diffuse Idiopathic Skeletal Hyperostosis (DISH) is a relatively common
degenerative condition seen in approximately 28% of cadavers at
autopsy...affects patients over the age of 55, but can begin as early at age
40...The etiology of DISH is unknown..."

John and Todd,

I thought John's piece on Diffuse Idiopathic Skeletal Hyperostosis/DISH was
well-written.

John's 28% figure caught my eye because 28% is the figure radiology
consultant JGB Russell reported when he used radiographs to estimate (in
effect) the amount of pelvic outlet area that is denied when OBs place women
semisitting or dorsal at delivery.

Radiology consultant Russell also reported a 30% figure - which is why I
regularly report (as I am doing here) that OBs are knowingly closing birth
canals up to 30%.

For simple PROOF that OBs are closing birth canals - and simple instructions
on how pregnant women can allow their birth canals to OPEN the "extra" up to
30%...

See again: I ain't no Semmelweis, but...

John writes: "The etiology of DISH is unknown."

OBs are gruesomely wrenching tiny spines - violently pushing (with
oxytocin/Cytotec) and gruesomely pulling (with hands, forceps, vacuums) -
with birth canals senselessly closed up to 30%.

ALL spinal manipulation is gruesome with the birth canal senselessly closed.

Who knows but that spine-wrenching birth trauma plays a role in the later
development of Diffuse Idiopathic Skeletal Hyperostosis/DISH?

Stranger things...

Thanks for reading.

Sincerely,

Todd

PS After first attending WSCC and TCC, I graduated from Los Angeles College
of Chiropractic/LACC, now part of Southern California University of the
Health Sciences/SCUHS...

LACC/SCUHS students - esp. those who are pregnant or whose spouses are
pregnant - might be interested in the fact that OBs are knowingly closing
birth canals up to 30% - and the simple instructions on how pregnant women
can allow their birth canals to OPEN the "extra" up to 30% (see "I ain't no
Semmelweis," URL above)...

I'm hoping ACA will soon develop a public health brochure for pregnant
women...

See ACA subluxation prevention brochure for pregnant women?
http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group...t/message/2624

LACC/SCUHS students might also be interested to know that Dorland's
Illustrated Medical Dictionary now has a definition of "vertebral
subluxation" and a definition of "straight chiropractic"...

The definitions are flawed - but still! It's cool!

See Dorland's: Preventing VS by educating OBs (also: New defn of chiro in
Dorland's)
