Default night terros

Hi
I need HELP
My second child is almost 2 (in three weeks), the past week he has developed
a new behavior - he refuses to go to bed and when he falls asleep from
exestuation I transfer him; he wakes up in the middle of the night comes
down of the bed to be with us.
I tried to make him stay in bed but he just scream bloody murder so I end up
taking to bed with us. My oldest son never did that plus he is going
toschool and he needs his sleep but he can't get good night sleep because of
the little one screaming.
please I need some suggestion I am sure I am not the only one - I am so
tired now I need some sleep too.
thanks in advance, Rene

DD is 2yo and she will only sleep with full lights on. It's the only way we
can get any sleep.

might be nightmares, but it's not night terrors. while a
person with night terrors may thrash & scream, they do *not*
wake up.
does he nap during the day? have you tried leaving a
nightlight & maybe a soft music cd playing?
