Default We're Having Boy/Girl Twins

I think it's entirely up to you and your kids, and varies totally by family.
My BGB triplets shared til they were almost 6 and a half with no problems
other than the usual bedtime giggling, irritations, etc. Certainly nothing
B-G related. Your girls may be dying to share sooner or your elder daughter
may be very protective of her own room or the twins may have trouble
sleeping in a shared space from the age of 6 months .... Just have to wait
and see.

Hello!

We will be welcoming our twins to our family in February (knock wood).
We have an almost 2 year old daughter too. I'm wondering how long
you kept your boy/girl twins sharing the same room? I'm thinking two
years from when they are born, my older daughter will move into the
larger room with her little sister. Am I dreaming, or does this sound
reasonable

Any other advice about boy/girl twins would also be appreciated.

Thanks in advance for your comments!

Sounds like they're all similar. My Boy/Girl Twins will be 2 in January, I
deffinately do not want to split them yet, I put them to bed at 6:30-7pm and
they normally chat for 15/20 minutes then drop off and its the same for
their morning nap, I put them to bed about 20 minutes ago and its just gone
quiet. They don't disturb each other, if one screams/cries the other one
just carries on sleeping!!
My advice is don't split them up until it becomes a problem.
Good luck, its amazing!!!

Just want to say congratulations.....I am also the parent of B/G twins,
but they are nearly 22 now...As a single parent I couldn't always
provide them with separate rooms so they slept in the same room till
they were about 10.

My twins are going to be 3 next month. I tried to separate them and they
end up in the same room and sometimes the same bed. I no longer try to
separate them and I figure they will let me know or I will try again next
year.
