Default EBM as effective or not

I know nursing is the best thing but how distant second is ebm in a
bottle? Do the antibodies withstand the refrigeration and warming of
ebm? Are there any studies showing comparison/contrasts of these two
methods of feeding? Any ideas?

I would say antibodies probably do withstand refrigeration and gentle
warming to body temp based only on the fact that I have a vial of Rhogam in
my fridge (which is a human antibody product derived from donor blood) for
innoculation after the birth of my child -- it is preservative free, has a 2
year shelf life, and my butt muscle will be warming it to body temperature
shortly after injection, after which it will remain potent.

But these are a different class of antibody than generally found in breast
milk. I don't know much about antibodies.

: Thanks.

I agree with Dagny that the antibodies withstand refrigeration and
gentle warming. I have read reports that more severe warming techniques
such as microwaving tends to destroy the antibodies.
