The child had a preexisting heart condition.

Show evidence that this death was caused by the vaccine.

Better yet Jeff, show evidence that it was not caused by the vaccine.

The claim is made that the vaccine caused the death. That has to be
proven.

Proving a negative, as you want, is inpossible, and absurd.

Whoah there....

No, it doesn't work that.

Claims do not have to be disproven, they have to be proven. That is
fundamental principle of rational thinking. It's like the whole god debate.
The existence of a god need not be disproven. It needs to proven. Lots of
gods of all flavors have been and are currently proposed to exist. Not a
one of them has been proven to be real.

I can't just proclaim that my arthritic knee is as a result of standing in
the operating room long hours and therefore should enable me to disability
or other such things. No, I would have to prove that that were the case...
not have someone disprove it.

That sort of suggestion [above] is just nonsense and not constructive to
meaningful discussion.

An example is often useful. Since the topic is the rather
serious one of "X resulted in the death of $PERSON" it
seems appropriate to place the straw man of "Ilena
Rosenthal killed $PERSON" before the board.

Since this comes up every time a child dies and there was
a vaccine somewhere nearby in time, the equivalent would
be to have Ilena Rosenthal brought up on charges of
homicide every time anyone dies in her general area. Such
as southern California.

Of course, if she's not at fault there's no harm done, right?

Why do I have this feeling that there are going to be a whole
host of responses totally missing the point here?

Health trivia: 40% of employee work absences are on either
Monday or Friday. Malingerers?

Correct.

I can't just proclaim that my arthritic knee is as a result of standing in
the operating room long hours and therefore should enable me to disability

Incorrect.
