Default Betrayed Daye

Daye,

You have defended me publicly.

You were doing so again.

I betrayed you.

I am sorry.

Todd

No need to apologize to me, Todd. I read your post to Amy and your
apology. I could see where Amy took your post personally. I also
think that she shouldn't have. A difference of opinion to be sure...

I have been on Usenet a long time (started circa 1996 or so). I have
a very thick skin on Usenet, and I learned a long time ago not to take
things personally. You posted something to the effect of "what
happens on Usenet, stays on Usenet." You got it in one. I wear my
flame proof suit every time I come into Usenet. Killfile and delete
are my best friends. Some people have to learn that the hard way.

However, you said that you betrayed me. According to my dictionary,
that means that you were disloyal to me. Nothing could be further
from the truth. You were NOT being disloyal to me. (I was being
loyal to you though.) You saw a mistake and you apologized for it.
That is being loyal to me. Nothing impresses me more than for someone
to realize that they were wrong and to try to make amends for those
wrongs. That is being loyal to me because I kind of expect my friends
to do that. You did that honorably. No betrayal... no disloyalty.
No need to apologize to me.

I can see where you think that you may have betrayed me. That is not
the case. I will continue to defend you when I feel it necessary.
