Smelling diapers?? What on earth is wrong with me?

Why does it seem, to me, anyways, that diapers smell so darn good? New,
clean ones, I mean, of course...
I bought a new pack of diapers the other day, and I happened to smell the
plastic bag that the diapers come in, and I realized that the plastic bag
just smelled so good...
I know this sounds weird, but it kind of goes along with the other strange
things I quite enjoy the smell of - gas, diesel, exhaust, WD-40, permanent
markers... Earlier this evening, while at Walmart, I was so tempted to buy
one of those mega packs of Sharpie markers JUST to color random things
with...
This smell problem is starting to drive me mad... The things that normally
smell so horrible seem to smell so fantastic, yet the normally good smelling
things make me want to throw up (like the sausages with a hint of maple,
pancakes, orange juice...)
I know there's the odd non-food cravings that can be a sign of a deficiency,
but does this smell thing follow the same idea or no? I think I've asked
this before recently, but I also don't think I had much to go with for an
answer...
