The price is not $3.20 now, you seem to be forgetting that, unless you are buying premium. You seem to be forgetting gas prices are different throughout the US due to state & local taxes. My gas prices are closer to $2.40 per gallon for regular. I know the state I live in gets a piece of the puzzle as well. DB - the price you pay for gas is determined by many factors. Just a small handful was already listed. Another factor is the state you live in might be taxing the gas price. Then there are many other factors.
