I did, I did! I had such a wonderful day! It was lovely and
relaxing. Yay! I got a haircut, and then a manicure, and then a
massage. Then I got a yummy hamburger, and then I saw the new Troy
movie - which meant a lot of looking at Orlando Bloom and Brad Pitt
for 3 hours. :-)

After the movie I picked up some take-out chinese food and brought it
home to discover that in addition to playing with the kids, DH had
been cleaning the house all day! Ahh, I should have a day like that 6
or 10 times a year. And the kids were SO happy to see me when I got
home - very excited, waving and waving out the front door, yelling
"hi, Ima!!!" as I hurried up the driveway.

It was a really nice birthday. I would have liked to add a pedicure
and a girlfriend to share it all with, but one can't have everything.
All birthdays should fall on the weekend!
