Huggies diapers ..

"Shena Delian O'Brien" wrote Logan is very chubby! Awww....I LOVE chubby babies! They are so adorable! BTW we used pampers for his newborn size and he peed outside the top in the back/side almost every single pee for a while. They were on the verge of way too small for him but he still had his umbilical cord remnant left over and we were waiting for it to fall off before we moved on to the next size (because the newborn size had cutouts). I am thinking that maybe it's NOT the Huggies, maybe Rachel needs a bigger size than NB in Huggies (and also I need to check the "gasket" lol, I never thought of that). She's tiny but the Huggies NB almost seem to be too short or small or something.... NB size fit Victor all the way around but they were WAY too short in the back (they were like hip-huggers and every time he peed, they leaked) and we had to switch to size 1 in Pampers Swaddlers and haven't had a leak since -- I guess I'd describe them as being 'taller'. Huggies diapers ..
Circe wrote: Clisby wrote: I wouldn't call Huggies horrible, but I like the Kroger store-brand diapers a lot better. As far as I can tell, all the store brand diapers are exactly the same diaper in a different package. There seem to be two varieties--one with velcro tabs and one with tape tabs--but I can't find any difference between the ones I've bought at Target, the ones I've bought at Albertsons, the ones I've bought at Vons, and the ones I've bought at Ralphs (Kroger), except a minor difference in price (cheapest at Target). They're all I use and they work fine. Could be - I don't know who makes all the house brands. I only buy the velcro type - and the reason I like Kroger better than Huggies is that the velcro tab sticks better. I can't figure out why, because IIRC, Huggies was the first name-brand to have the velcro stuff so you'd think it would be the best. But that hasn't been my experience. (I've never had any particular problem with leaking or poor fits from any diapers - I guess I just have run-of-the-mill-size children. ) Clisby |

Huggies diapers ..

The funny thing is, Jacob was big and kind of a chunk and everything but huggies leaked like mad. Naomi has always been petite (currently just below 10th percentile for weight and around 18th for height) and Huggies work great on her, too. -- hillary israeli vmd http://www.hillary.net "uber vaccae in quattuor partes divisum est." not-so-newly minted veterinarian-at-large |
