Doing the fish tank!
B had the intelligence to toss one of those growing dinosaur toys into the
big fish tank, which resulted in MANY dead fish. Luckily, only one out of the 3 big, big fish died - could have been worse... Spent the evening tonight emptying out that tank, 5gal at a time and then took all the rocks out, as well as all the gravel and moved the tank over a few feet to make more room in the living room... What a chore that was... Never thought the empty tank would be THAT heavy, and since I wasn't able to lift it myself, I put the old dining room chairs beside the tank, inched it over slowly until it was off the stand (about same height, luckily, as the chairs) moved the cinder blocks and stand over, swept and mopped the area up and then put the tank back on the stand... I just finished that about half an hour ago, spent the last 20ish minutes putting the gravel in all nicely, and all the rocks and my newest seashell additions and the last 10 minutes or so, the tank has been slowly filling up with water once again. We found out the garden hose fits on the kitchen sink tap if you take the dishwasher attachment part off, so I've been using the hose to slowly fill the tank up, rather than carry bucket after bucket after bucket of heavy, sloshing water from the kitchen to the living room... The tank is a little more than half full and I think it looks great Now I've just got to play the waiting game before I can toss the fish back in this tank, as I did a complete, total water change... I'll use some boring feeder comets as guinea pigs to help get the fish tank back up to par for my regular fish to make their home in their old home. It's 3am, I'm pooped and hopefully I'll actually get right to sleep in less than 10 minutes, when this tank is filled up! What an event it was, at the very least... Now if I can find a way to bring the big computer desk up, I can work on the basement living room/toy room area and then get the laundry room more up to par. That's about it. It was fun, but now I'm tired. Night night! |

I've been trying to find a good home for our dog, as right now, the extra costs and time that a dog takes is something I can't offer right now Can't seem to find a crazy person to take this dog, nevermind someone who can offer him a good home lol |

Will he FedEx? Oh, probably... Doesn't FedEx have some type of overnight thing going on? That might mean you'd get a dog that's still alive, as opposed to one kinda not alive... Pros: No need to train, feed or play with, no barking Cons: None, other than the neighbours might talk if you tell the kids to go out and play with the *dead* dog Other: Smells even worse dead than they do alive and still don't listen worth a darn... |
