supply is suddenly abundant :-)
I have posted several times about how hard bf is and how my kid is
constantly on the breast, so I am very excited to post that (knock on wood) we are past that hurdle. For the past few days every feeding is not egregiously long anymore, and just this morning to my amazement I was able to pump 2.5 oz which may not be much to some, but it's more than I've ever pumped before and I used to exclusively pump for my first dd; meaning no bf, but I did have to give her formula because I didn't pump enough. I probably could have pumped more. It just kept coming, but 2.5 oz was more than we need. I usually just pump 1.5 oz every morning to use when out and about running errands to tide my baby over when it is inopportune to bf her since I am no good at hiding my breasts when NIP yet. I did just start taking chasteberry a few days ago because someone else said their supply went up noticably when they took it, so I read up on it and in small doses it increases supply and in large doses can decrease supply, so I am just taking 1 pill and I think it may be working. I also just got my thyroid medicine increased, so that could be what changed things too. Either way, I'll take it. KC Caitlin 12/29/99 Jessica 5/18/03 |

Glad I could help. Now *I* just need to remember to take the agnus castus every day! Jean -- "And he said: Your children are not your children. That's my problem - not paying enough attention to the sig area. thanks, Ben -- BTW. I can be contacted at Username:newsgroup4.replies.benaltw Domain:xoxy.net |
