Default Nice comment while grocery shopping

The woman working at the deli counter was admiring Jaden, making the
usual comments, then asked if he is bf'd. I was surprised for a second
since it seemed kind of a personal question but proudly answered yes.
Then she said, "I knew he was, because he has such beautiful skin".
Made my day.

Quiet down, cobwebs. Dust go to sleep.
I'm rocking my baby and babies don't keep.

It does seem like a personal question, yet I get asked that about once a day
by complete strangers. Everyone says that breastfed babies look a lot
healthier!

I have noticed that when I see old friends with babies, there is
something about the babies that shows they're breastfed before I even
find out. I was told my two breastfed babies look like breastfed
babies. (maybe it's like the "glow" you get when pregnant?)

I read that Anne Geddes uses only breastfed babies as models for that very
reason.

Sounds like an urban myth to me, though I'd believe anything of Anne Geddes.

I'd have a heck of a time guessing whether a baby was breastfed or not based on
its skin. I think I'd have a better chance of being right if I went by the
mother's choice of shoes!
