Default bottles at daycare

To moms who send their kids to daycare with bottles. You know those bottles
with the disposable liners? Do you send A) one bottle with a bunch of
liners, B) one bottle with liners and extra nipples, C) one bottle with
liners and extra nipples and extra rings that go around the nipples. It
somehow doesn't seem sanitary to just send one bottle with one nipple and a
bunch of liners, since the nipple will go dirty, or do you just expect
daycare to wash them?

Our nanny would use the same bottle, but different nipple/ring combo
plus new liner each feed. Unless the bottle got dirty/sticky. I know
some daycares require the bottles to be made up ahead of time,
so all they have to do is warm the milk. In which case you need the
whole contraption for each feed.

I used that kind and I sent multiple bottles. They used a whole new set up
each feeding. I washed them at home. 1/2 the time the liner would be gone
and 1/2 the time it was sent back with the liner (which didn't bother me).

I am not a Mom who sends her kid to child care, but I am a
child care provider to whom children are sent, so I will
offer an answer

Different providers have alternate methods for handling
this, but I always asked for one bottle, one ring, several
nipples and a box of liners. I ran the nipples through the
dishwasher, and it was helpful to have enough of them to
last the day. I let the parents know when I was low on
formula or liners.

Some parents preferred to make enough bottles for the day,
and I would pop them in the fridge in the morning and send
the empties home in the evening.

AFAIC, whatever is easiest for the family........

With Sophie I just sent pre-made bottles, sometimes they came back with the
liner, sometimes not. I always prepared them and washed them myself.

I used different bottles, but since they were filed with breastmilk,
I had to do it that way.

I plan to fill them with breastmilk, too.

How many bottles does your child need in one day?
My son took 6 when he forst started. I simply made up
six bottles every morning and packed thein in a small igloo
to take to daycare. They had a frig, so my baby's milk stayed cold.

She breastfeeds about every 3 hours. Seems like most people do as you do.
I will have to go buy some more bottles.

I also asked them not to rinse or empty ds's bottles, so that I could keep
track of what he was eating..
(for a little while). After I made sure he was getting enough each day I let
them rinse them.
