A few questions...

The main request from our 4 year old this year is a Barbie Cash Register. Does
anyone have this??? It is about 40.00, I hate to spend that much but it seems
like she is really interested in it. (Can you tell I want someone to convince
me it is no good?) So I guess that will be her big gift, other than the bike
Santa is bringing. The bike is another story. It is about 20.00 more for a
Disney Princess Bike than the same generic one. Where do they get off??? I
guess because of parents like me that cave in! ughhhhh

Basically just venting....I deserve it for waiting until the last minute.
Megan what are your kiddos getting? We have so many hand me down toys from
Alexis I am having a hard time coming up with something for Emma and Aislyn.

I have the cash register and I personally don't think it was worth it. It
may be better for her when she is 6 or so. I can email you and tell you
more about it if you like.

Default Christmas gifts

HI Kimberly!!

I just saw the Disney Princess bike today at Costco and it was too cute!
I actually thought about buying it and tucking it away for a few years.
I forget how much, but I remember thinking that it was inexpensive.

This sounds horrible, but I am not a big toy person. My tiny house is
getting tinier by the moment and with DH's 7 bro's and sis's, we are
goig to get bombarded by toys, so I am not going over-board, since they
don't even realize what is going on.

I picked up 2 outits each for them, the Peek-a-Boo blocks, singing
Simba, balls (they are so into throwing balls right now!). DH and I are
going shopping Fri. and I plan to pick up My First Leap Frog. (there is
one for ages 6-36 mos.) and I have to find something "Nemo". We watch it
3X a day!! We are probably going to get them the Little Tykes play house
as their main gift and a few Wiggles DVD's. That is pretty much it!!

I wouldn't mind hearing a bit more about the cash register if you don't mind
posting it. Does it teach any kind of counting or money value skills? I was
curious about it but thought my two might be a bit young for it-- 4 years.
We're waiting to do the bikes for their birthday in June. The main gift around
here that they've been begging for is Mommy's Little Patient. Anyone have
those? They were nearly impossible to find but I managed to snag two of them.
They sound kinda gimicky and like something that will land at the bottom of
the toy box in a few days, but my girls love playing doctor with all their
other dolls so maybe I'm wrong!

Alexis has said the same thing, every time she sees the commercial! I am sure
it doesn't help that the darn commercial comes on about 5 times in between Dora
and Blues Clues. Do you mind if I asked where you found it and how much they
were?
