Providing strength to parents of pre-mature babies
Hello group members,
I am a student in a Masters program for Information Science. My study group is preparing a term paper on "Empowerment" and we decided to focus on how online Internet Forums strengthen/empower parents of premture babies. We chose this topic because one of our group members is the proud mother of a healthy and happy 5 year old girl who was born in the 26th week at 1.9 pounds! If you are a parent of a premature baby, it would really help us if you could take a few minutes to answer the following 4 questions. I really appreciate you assitance! Esther Does your participation in this online Forum help you cope with the premature birth? Is so, how? Do you feel that reading the positive experiences of others gives you strength to deal with your own problems? Is so, please comment: Is this Forum an important source of information, providing both professional and real-life "tips". If so, please comment. Do you prefer sharing your experience over the Internet, or would you prefer to meet people personally? Please comment. |
