Twins reference in an old country song

A local radio station has gone to a classic country format recently
and has played Loretta Lynn's "Ones on the Way" a few times this week.
I hadn't heard it before (and my parents hadn't either when we discussed
the lyrics).

I end up laughing at the Topeka parts since it mirrors some sections of
mom's journal about my sister and me.

Looking around on the web, she had twins in 1964.
