Spacing the births makes the babies turn out right
Very long or very short intervals between pregnancies are significantly
associated with an increased risk of unfavorable childbirth outcomes,
international research has found.

"In an analysis of 67 studies from 1966 to 2006 "

Not the biggest study group is it?

? A meta-analysis of 67 studies is pretty big. Given
that at least one of the included studies had over a million
subjects, I'm guessing the number of cases in the meta-analysis
was pretty darned big.

Best wishes,

"The studies examined to determine the link between birth spacing and
the risk of undesirable birth results included 20 conducted in this
country. The other 47 were done in 61 nations in Latin America, Asia,
Africa, Europe and Australia. The studies looked at more than 11
million pregnancies around the globe."

Pretty big sample.
