First ultrasound
I posted a week ago about not seeing anything on my u/s. I went to my
regular ob appt and everything turned out fine. I saw the heartbeat which was 130 beats a min. Is that considered slow and aren't boys heartbeats slower than girls? I have had 2 girls and I remember them bein in the 150-160 range. Just wanted to update and say that yes, there is a baby in there! |

ups.com... Is that considered slow and aren't boys heartbeats slower than girls? Seems fast enough to me. :-) Also, check out this myth: http://parenting.ivillage.com/pregna...e_9ww0,00.html -- Jacqueline #1 Son Born 10th August 2005 |

(And the thing about the heart rate being related to sex is an old wives' tale.) Best wishes, Ericka |

From what I understand normal fetal heart rates range from 110 to 160
beats per minute so your baby is right in the middle! I've heard both sides of boys vs girls have higher heart rates, too many contradictions to put any merit in it, in my opinion. Glad there is a baby in there! |
